BLIND PIG MEDIA LIMITED (10511816) IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

At an extraordinary general meeting held on 7/6/2023, chaired by Steven Brookes, Director, a resolution was passed that Blind Pig Media Limited was insolvent and should be placed into Voluntary Liquidation for the purposes of winding the company up.

 

At the same meeting, Jane Hardy (IP NO 9384) and Gary Birchall (IP NO 9725) of the Focus Insolvency Group of Appleby Bridge, Wigan, WN6 9DW were nominated as joint Liquidators.

 

A statement of affairs filed at Companies House on 14.6.2023 signed by Steve Brookes, Director, shows an estimated deficit for unsecured creditors of approx. £503k.

 

This company first came to our notice early this year when we were contacted by a Freelancer who was owed just over £500, which was outstanding from last year, it would seem that Steve Brookes had made many promises of payment, but these payments had never materialised.

 

We then conducted extensive searches on Blind Pig Media Limited. And we found 6 County Court Judgements had been registered over the last 12 months totaling approx. £17.5k. We advised the Freelancer that, in our opinion, looking at the information available things would almost certainly deteriorate, and they would probably be wasting their time and money by taking Court Action.

 

Details of Blind Pig Media Limited were added to our Credit Intelligence Database (CID) and we monitored this company carefully. further judgments (CCJ) were added during April 2023, culminating in a Judgement (CCJ) being registered in May 2023 for £51k. Voluntary Liquidation followed shortly after that.

 

The Blind Pig Group Limited (10673999), which trades at the same address, has a related Telephone Number and Steven Brookes is also a registered Director. A Judgement (CCJ) has recently been registered for 6.1k.
